I have installed KeeWeb desktop on Mac and Windows and I am running the web version on iOS. I think it really should receive more attention here than it was given a year ago.

Antelle - 2016-02-13 Please consider adding my desktop app KeeWeb as a way to work with KeePass databases on Mac OS X to the post. More info about the app, including downloads, can be found here: Pretty mac KeePass app was one of the reasons why I started this project. Hello, I have been using KeePass on Windows for a while and have been very happy with the tool and have all my passwords saved in KeePass. Recently I decided to move from Microsoft to Apple (mac mini, mac book and iphone); as part of this move I want to continue using KeePass on my new Mac Mini but this is turning out to be painful. Steps taken to setup KeePass: I have setup latest version of Mono (MonoFramework-MDK-5.4.1.7.macos10.xamarin.universal.pkg) and I have downloaded and unzip the latest KeePass (KeePass2.23.zip) on my Mac Mini. After installation I see 'KeePass2.23' icon under application on Mac Mini; See attachment. When I double click on this icon nothing happens.

After installation I tried running KeePass from command line with following command ' mono KeePass.exe'. I get following warning message ' The Carbon driver has not been ported to 64bits, and very few parts of Windows.Forms will work properly, or at all' and then it fails; see attachment for details on the error. I would be grateful if someone can provide a solution so I can run KeePass on Mac Mini and later I can setup KeePass Touch on my iphone. In advance, thanks for your help.
I am using keepass portable (have it on a usb). I want to be able to use it for mac and windows. I tried following the steps on keepass' website (install mono on the usb and run it and the keepass app on top of mono with a batch file) but this lacked one thing. It didn't help me with the fact the keepass app was an exe so it would't open on OS X.
So I attempted to use keepassx when on OS X and keepass when on windows. This almost worked, BUT the latest version of keepassx doesn't support the.kdbx file (which is what the latest Keepass uses). How can I achieve seamlessly running Keepass on OS X or Windows? So finally, here is what I did to be able to run keepass portable on mac and windows seamlessly:. Download Keepass portable 'classic edition'. Place the contents of the unzipped package on your USB. Download KeepassX and put the application from the dmg on your USB.

Run either the KeepassX (if on OS X) or KeePass.exe (if on Windows obviously) And thats how you do it! KeepassX and Keepass.exe both use.kdb for the database so everything works perfect! Only difference is on OS X you use the Keepass application, and on Windows you use the Keepass.exe.
